Privacy Policy for iQRC Client Demo
This Privacy Policy describes how iQRC Client Demo collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to transparency about the limited data we collect and how it is handled.
Important note: iQRC Client Demo is a prototype and demo build. All clients, buildings, devices, telemetry, and AI features are simulated and deterministic — there is no real connection to any building or facility. Because no real operational data is processed, the app collects no personal data beyond the device identifiers described below, which are used solely for install attribution and basic analytics.
Information We Collect
Unique Identifiers
We collect the following device identifiers to deliver and improve our services:
- Google Advertising ID (GAID): Your device's advertising identifier is used for analytics and install attribution purposes. You can reset this identifier or opt out of interest-based advertising at any time through your device settings under Privacy > Ads. Learn more about Google's advertising policies.
- Custom User ID: A UUID (universally unique identifier) is generated and stored locally on your device the first time you launch the app. This identifier helps us understand aggregate usage patterns and does not contain or link to any personally identifiable information.
Push Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
This app may use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send you push notifications about app updates or important system events. To deliver notifications, we collect a device token issued by FCM. This token is used solely for the purpose of routing notifications to your device.
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's notification settings. Disabling notifications does not affect core app functionality.

Device Information
We collect basic technical information about your device, including:
- Device model and manufacturer
- Operating system version
- Language and locale settings
This information is used to optimise app performance for your specific device configuration and to assist with troubleshooting reported issues. It is not used to identify you personally.
Installation Source
We may collect information about the source from which the app was installed (for example, Google Play Store) for analytics and attribution purposes. This helps us understand which distribution channels are effective and does not identify you as an individual.
Analytics and Attribution
This app may use third-party analytics and attribution services to understand how the application is used and to measure the effectiveness of distribution. These services may collect data according to their own privacy policies.

Local Data Storage
The app stores your in-app preferences and settings (such as language selection and display theme) locally on your device. This locally stored data is not transmitted to our servers or any third party unless explicitly stated in this policy. You can remove this data by uninstalling the application.

iQRC Client Demo is intended for use by facility administrators and building management professionals. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
